Overview
About Muldoon
Muldoon Elementary offers rigorous and successful academic programs that engage all learners, using the Common Core Standards as our guide. Our primary math curriculum is iReady Math, and for English-Language Arts, most students participate in Core Knowledge Language Arts.
Muldoon is proud of the diversity that our Muldoon families bring to our school. As a team, we strive to help all students, parents, and staff members feel safe while on campus. Parts of every school day are dedicated to focusing on Social and Emotional Learning. Classroom teachers use books, videos and a variety of SEL curriculum to help teach children social skill lessons. Muldoon also focuses on Positive Behavior Intervention Supports by ensuring our lessons are engaging and reach all students.
Our Mission:
At Muldoon, our mission is to encourage wellness, empathy, and compassion while developing students with life skills to be independent and resilient learners.
Our Vision:
By using S.M.A.R.T. goals we will build a community that promotes dynamic collaboration, inclusion, and encouraged belonging while holding students accountable through high expectations.
Schoolwide Instructional Focus
For the 2025–2026 school year, Muldoon Elementary will prioritize strengthening our reading instruction through an intentional focus on evidence-based practices. Specifically, we will deepen our collective understanding of the science of reading and increase the use of high-leverage engagement strategies to support student learning.
Our goal is to ensure that every student has access to high-quality reading instruction that meets their individual needs and fosters engagement, resilience, and academic growth.
