The Muldoon Gateway Rotary Club members continue to volunteer their time reading with students every Wednesday with intermediate students.  The Rotarians meet with students in the library with the 21st Century After School Program students to work on reading fluency and comprehension.

Holiday meal baskets were donated for 30 school families during the months of November and December last school year.  These complete meal baskets always helps our students and their families during the holiday season.

‌In January last school year, Gateway Rotary donated hundreds of children’s books to our library and staff.  These books have been a wonderful addition to our classroom and library collections!

The North Anchorage Walmart has been supporting our students and staff with discounts on school supplies at the beginning of each new school year.  They also have donated student snacks and bottles of water during the state testing time each April for our intermediate students in grades 3-5. Their ongoing support is really appreciated by all of the classroom teachers and Muldoon students in grades K-5.

Station 6 firefighters come read with kindergarteners, hold school-wide assemblies, and volunteer at family night functions and our annual Field day event each spring.  They have also co-hosted the annual Super Hero Day event for our Project K’il boys and their families each spring hosted at Begich Middle School.

Every Friday all students are provided a bag of food to take home that feed them breakfast, lunch, and dinner over the weekend.  Without this partnership, many of our students would be hungry over the weekend.

Every school year, we have families that struggle from time to time. The Children's Lunchbox helps us maintain a small food pantry to assist Muldoon students in need.  Families can simply request a box of food for the week to help them feed their children in the front office at anytime.
